469: Aussie Xtracycle

Here is my Aussie xtracycle. It is one of maybe two in Perth, Western Australia. It is bolted to a Giant STP2 - though I have since changed out the forks to some rigid Salsa steel forks, and added a Brooks saddle. A drivetrain upgrade is also in the wings - at the moment am running Acera but it doesn't seem to deal with gear changes very well. I'm looking at going to 9 speed and going to SRAM X9.

413: Zach's Xtracycle

Early morning inaugural ride on my new Xtracycle!  I think I have one of the prettiest commutes to work, all cotton fields at sunrise.  I need to take another pic when the cotton blooms.

398: Alan's New Xtracycle

Here is my old Giant Sedona (probably a year 2000 model), newly "X-ed" to my Free Radical (which had been "resting" in my storage unit for about a year). The Free Radical used to be attached to a Novara Safari (see pic at bottom), but I "De-Xed" that bike about a year ago, so my girlfriend could use the Safari for touring, etc. The pic was on a post-conversion test run to K-Mart and the supermarket. I'm glad to be back on an "X"!

Here are a few pics of my converted 1995 Giant Iguana, with my daughter enjoying it. Special thanks to Jay at "The Bike Lane" in Burke, Va for the build and modifications.
