389: Bjorn's Xtracycle
Included are pictures of how I made my own wide loaders in a couple of hours with hand tools.
1. Sawed some plywood
2. Stuck some dowel into the appropriate orfices. (Wood mallet is a good tool here.)
3. Fastened the plywood with hose clamps to the dowels.
4. Voilá.
I have some bicycle-related stuff here: http://theaccidentalhermit.blogspot.com/search/label/bicycle

387: Jason's Xtracycle
Here is a pic of my daughter Leila on our xtracycle with a custom mounted Bobike child seat.
You guys inspire a lot of people to get out of the car and on a bike. I have converted 3 bikes over to xtracycle for various friends.
My bike has a custom Yakima bike carrier to take my race bike to the races or the velodrome.
Thanks you your inspiration,
Jason Eddy

Parked outside of the Hiller Aviation Museum @ the 2009 Vertical Challenge.
I go to this every year... I LOVE IT. This museum is really a unique treasure for the peninsula. Go check out the back story of Stanley Hiller and his bubble copters.

381: Big Dumb Pug
Custom Xtracycle, Pugsley style!
Photo courtesy Chris (more pix here).
This is a custom built bike by Banjo Cycles here in Madison. It has been dubbed the Big Dumb Pug. It is what happens when you leave a Pugsley and Big Dummy in a closet overnight alone! I just got it built up yesterday and rode it downtown…For Wisconsin winters, this bike will get me to the store where my others will stop dead in their tracks!

Who's fault? It's the asphalt!
"35 lbs. of asphalt patch, 1 new 15 lb. tamping tool, 2 gallons of tar, a NY Fugghedaboudit lock, and other assorted items. A couple miles to the hardware store - no problems."
